About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Financial Coordinator to join our Finance Team. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth financial systems, processing invoices and payroll, managing records, and supporting donations and audits, allowing the team to focus on serving youth.
Responsibilities
- Process and pay bills via checks and electronic systems
- Collect and enter credit card expenses into QuickBooks Online
- Process donations and support bank deposits
- Manage digital and physical filing systems for financial records
- Organize and maintain contractor documents (W9s, contracts)
- Monitor and respond to finance-related emails
- Process payroll bi-weekly and enter all payroll data into QuickBooks
- Assist with year-end payroll tasks (W2s, 1099s)
- Prepare materials and assist with the annual financial audit
- Provide admin support on accounting and contract-related projects
- Attend staff meetings, trainings, and retreats
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- 1+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and BambooHR
- Familiarity with nonprofits, especially youth-serving organizations
- A detail-lover who keeps things organized and double-checked
- Someone who enjoys working independently but also thrives in a collaborative team
