About the Role

The Manager, Video Production will conceptualize, coordinate, and create video content for social media, events, marketing campaigns, and internal needs. This role requires a creative and hardworking videographer to join the team for an eight-month contract.

Responsibilities

  • Develop editorial and creative vision, video briefs, series pitches, storyboards, and video strategy.
  • Manage pre-production tasks including source communication, pre-interviews, location scouting, logistics, and equipment rental.
  • Execute on-set multi-camera operation, cinematography, talent direction, lighting, and audio recording.
  • Perform post-production duties including data management, story editing, motion graphics, animation, audio mastering, and color correction.
  • Support podcast and event recording, equipment maintenance, digital library organization, and administrative tasks like permits and consent forms.

Requirements

  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Reside in Ontario.
  • Willing to work from the Toronto office at least 3 days per week.
  • Some post-secondary education.
  • Degree in film, broadcasting, journalism, or communications.
  • 7+ years of professional video production experience.
