About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to take ownership of a meaningful area of the Zencargo platform and help transform how global freight is managed. This role involves digitizing and automating complex processes in the logistics industry, working on products that serve customers, suppliers, freight partners, and internal operations teams. AI is central to our work, and you will help identify and deliver AI-powered features while using modern AI tools throughout the product lifecycle. You will own a product area end-to-end, shaping problems, challenging assumptions, and providing clear recommendations for investment.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, priorities, roadmap, and measurable outcomes for your product area, balancing customer value, operational impact, commercial priorities, and technical complexity.
• Lead discovery and prioritisation for complex customer and operational problems, using user research, product and operational data, market insight, and commercial context.
• Experience working closely with engineers and designers throughout discovery, solution design and delivery.
• Map and redesign freight and operational processes to identify opportunities for technology, automation, and AI.
• Define success measures before development begins and use data to assess outcomes.
• Take responsibility for initiatives beyond launch, ensuring adoption, measurable value, and improvement.
• Facilitate sessions and communicate effectively to align product, engineering, design, operations, commercial, and leadership teams.
• Contribute to the broader product strategy and roadmap.
• Use AI tools as part of your day-to-day product practice.
• Build a strong understanding of customers, operations, platform, strategy, and technical landscape within the first 30 days.
• Take clear ownership of a product area, validate problems, establish outcomes, and lead initiatives into delivery within the first 90 days.
• Demonstrate measurable progress against agreed outcomes within the first six months.
• Consistently identify and solve valuable problems, make strong prioritisation decisions, and deliver improvements.

Requirements

• Experience as a Product Manager with a track record of shipping impactful software products or features.
• Experience owning a product area or complex problem space.
• Strong product judgement, with the ability to make pragmatic trade-offs.
• Strong user research, data analysis, process mapping, and facilitation skills.
• Experience working closely with engineers and designers throughout discovery, solution design and delivery.
• Recent, hands-on experience using modern AI tools to improve product discovery, research, analysis, prototyping, specification, or delivery.
• Experience contributing to an AI-enabled product or feature.
• Confidence working directly with senior leaders, communicating complex issues clearly, and influencing decisions.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity, challenging established processes, and adapting your approach.
• A versatile, hands-on working style, with the ability to move between strategic thinking, detailed discovery, stakeholder alignment, and supporting delivery.
• Domain knowledge in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain is a plus.
• Experience in a startup, scale-up, or fast-growth technology environment is a plus.
• Experience building products for operational users as well as external customers is a plus.
• Familiarity with ThoughtSpot or similar analytics and business intelligence tools is a plus.
