About the Role

Electrisource is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Foreman or Project Lead to manage crews and execute challenging industrial electrical projects. This role requires a leader who takes ownership, sets high standards, solves problems, and ensures safe, efficient, and professional installations. You will be empowered to plan work, direct manpower, and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead electricians and apprentices on industrial electrical projects
  • Plan daily work, manpower, materials, tools, and equipment
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, schedules, and scopes of work
  • Coordinate installations with customers, project managers, vendors, and other trades
  • Lay out conduit, cable tray, equipment, supports, and electrical systems
  • Oversee conduit installation, wire and cable pulling, equipment connections, controls, and terminations
  • Identify problems early and develop practical solutions
  • Track project progress, labor hours, materials, and upcoming needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and productive jobsite
  • Enforce safety requirements and proper work practices
  • Train less-experienced electricians and hold the crew accountable for workmanship
  • Complete accurate daily reports, time records, and project documentation

Requirements

  • Strong industrial electrical construction and installation background
  • Demonstrated experience leading electrical crews or major project work
  • Ability to independently read drawings and plan electrical installations
  • Strong knowledge of conduit systems, cable tray, feeders, equipment wiring, controls, and industrial electrical practices
  • Ability to estimate manpower, materials, and time required for assigned work
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel when required
  • Ability to consistently arrive on time and ready to work
  • Commitment to safe, high-quality workmanship
  • A Connecticut electrical license is required
