About the Role
As Sales & Marketing Assistant, you will be an integral member of the Mad Science team, bringing your sales and marketing talents to assist in creating and implementing sales and marketing plans to bring in new business opportunities and maintain current clients for our Milwaukee, Detroit, and Northern Illinois locations.
Responsibilities
- Maintains relationships with clients and updates contact databases as needed
- Handles incoming inquiries for programming
- Creates new business opportunities (schools, organizations, camps)
- Helps to reach assigned goals through outreach and cross-selling programs
- Manages client communications such as booking confirmations, invoices, follow-up surveys, and requested promotional material
- Assists in building marketing plans for each area of business
- Develops and implements advertising and marketing campaigns
- Uses social media to network, maintain relationships, and build business branding
- Assists in managing digital, paper, and promotional marketing material
Requirements
- Prior sales and marketing experience, preferably with selling to a school market
- Able to work independently
- Must have a professional voice
- Must be computer literate
- Must be comfortable on Zoom calls
- Organized, outgoing, persistent, and flexible
- Able to travel to our office in New Berlin at least once a week, after initial in-office training
- Must successfully pass a background check
