About the Role

Sift Agents are AI-powered tools designed to assist hardware engineers by investigating anomalies and analyzing telemetry data. This product engineering role offers significant autonomy, requiring you to own the development lifecycle from MVP to iteration. You will work across the full stack, building frontend interfaces, backend agentic systems, and reliable infrastructure to make AI agents dependable for mission-critical hardware teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers and product teams to translate workflows into agent capabilities
Design and operate agentic systems that analyze large-scale time-series data
Develop dependable agent infrastructure including tool interfaces, sandboxed execution, and memory management
Maintain the MCP server for telemetry querying
Build frontend surfaces for agent interaction
Design and implement APIs for agentic capabilities
Manage reliable agent deployment in cloud and on-prem environments
Build evaluation suites to measure agent performance, latency, and cost

Requirements

3+ years of professional software engineering experience
Experience building frontend web applications
Experience building APIs or backend services
Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual per ITAR/EAR regulations
