About the Role
This entry-level Associate role on the Healthcare, Higher Ed & Nonprofit team offers a strong foundation in financial analysis, credit risk assessment, and client management within the nonprofit industry.
Responsibilities
- Cover a portfolio of 40-50 clients in conjunction with deal teams.
- Act as a primary contributor and reviewer in all facets of deal execution, including financial analysis, modeling, risk analysis, and due diligence.
- Support senior bankers in managing client relationships and interact with internal partners to deliver financial solutions.
- Assist with the training and professional development of junior Analysts.
- Conduct detailed company research and industry analysis within the nonprofit sector.
- Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to policy.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of associate work experience.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and financial data analysis.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Obtain Series 63 and 79 licenses, and pass SIE, within 150 days of joining.
