About the Role
The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the inventory of all vehicles at the facility within company timelines, documenting vehicle condition with photographs, and directing traffic flow in the receiving area to ensure timely processing. This role facilitates the Copart experience by offering solutions to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, maintain and organize the receiving area.
- Operate camera and utilize a handheld inventory device to process incoming vehicles.
- Determine operational capability of motor vehicles.
- Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) on required vehicles.
- Maintain inventory of all materials used.
- Compliance to company policies and procedures.
- Compliance to safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
- General automotive knowledge/mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Driver's license preferred.
- Bilingual skill a plus.
