About the Role
Reade Street Prep is seeking a Head Preschool Teacher to foster a love of learning and develop students' social, emotional, and critical thinking skills. The role involves supporting an Assistant Teacher to meet program goals through lesson planning, progress reporting, and communication.
Responsibilities
- Work with the support of an Assistant Teacher to ensure developmental goals are met.
- Engage in targeted lesson planning.
- Conduct thoughtful self-reflections.
- Prepare ongoing student progress reports.
- Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues.
- Assure compliance with the Reade Street Prep Teacher Handbook.
- Work collegially with other staff members.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Education required.
- Professional development will begin in August.
