About the Role
As a Senior Designer in the construction and foodservice industry, you will take on a substantial leadership role in driving the success of commercial kitchen design projects. Your deep expertise and contributions to the creation of draft layouts, production drawings, and presentation materials, coupled with your extensive experience in client engagement, are invaluable assets to our team's growth and our projects' outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Lead Technical Designers and the Design team on commercial kitchen projects, assuming a leadership role.
- Contribute to all phases of the design process.
- Utilize advanced computer skills to enhance team capabilities.
- Improve design materials through expertise in software like Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM360, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, AutoCAD, AutoQuotes, KCL, Skype, and Microsoft Office.
- Lead client meetings and oversee project execution.
- Foster productive client interactions and build strong relationships.
- Assume greater responsibility for the efficient management of drawings, ensuring accuracy and relevance to project goals.
- Oversee projects, ensuring a focus on quality and precision.
- Foster a culture of learning, adaptation, and growth within the team.
- Mentor less experienced team members.
- Embrace additional responsibilities as required.
- Support projects, lead by example, and contribute unique skills to drive excellence.
Requirements
- 4 - 6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
- Proficiency in advanced computer skills, including software such as Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM360, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, AutoCAD, AutoQuotes, KCL, Skype, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Previous experience in the foodservice industry is preferred.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
