  • Assist with quantitative research by reviewing survey tabs, identifying patterns, and summarizing key findings.
  • Contribute to the development of audience personas, messaging briefs, and narrative insights.
  • Draft background materials, briefing documents, memos, reports, and thought leadership content.
  • Create clear, visually compelling presentations and data visualizations.
  • Collaborate with strategy, digital, and creative teams to ensure insights inform messaging, content, targeting, and campaign execution.
  • Help maintain internal research libraries, audience profiles, and shared resources.
  • Support new business efforts by preparing research pulls, developing audience insights, sharing background summaries, and drafting proposal content.
  • Participate in client meetings and internal brainstorms, contributing research-backed perspective.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in research, strategic communications, public interest advocacy, political campaigns, market research, academic research, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather information from multiple sources and synthesize it into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, including the ability to translate data or research into compelling, audience-focused language.
  • Comfort working with data, including reading quantitative survey tabs, identifying themes, and articulating takeaways.
  • Basic understanding of statistics or survey methodology.
  • Experience supporting or conducting research (desk research, qualitative support, or quantitative analysis).
  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across different teams.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in learning new issues, audiences, and tools.
  • Effective collaborator with strong verbal communication skills.

  • Exposure to public opinion research, message testing, audience segmentation, or campaign evaluation.
  • Experience translating research into messaging frameworks, briefs, or strategy recommendations.
  • Familiarity with advocacy, social impact communications, or issue-based campaigns.
  • Experience drafting reports, white papers, or research-driven content.
  • Coursework or background in fields such as journalism, political science, sociology, psychology, public health, anthropology, communications, or related social sciences.
  • Experience supporting new business proposals through research pulls or background summaries.
