About the Role
The Jewish Community Center of San Francisco is seeking enthusiastic JCCSF Sports Coaches for various sports. This role requires coaching experience or extensive sports knowledge, with a passion for engaging children aged 3 to 11. The program focuses on skill development and life lessons in a positive environment, requiring coaches to provide leadership and commitment.
Responsibilities
- Develop class objectives aligned with JCCSF youth sports program philosophies.
- Organize practices and games emphasizing fundamental skill development through positive reinforcement.
- Attend weekday classes consistently.
- Provide active guidance during classes.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Learn and follow JCCSF policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience working with children aged 3-11 years.
- Familiarity with various sports and ability to demonstrate basic skills.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Availability for all scheduled classes, trainings, and meetings.
