About the Role
Reliant Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to deliver high-quality therapy services to patients, fostering positive relationships with facilities and clients. The role involves patient screening, evaluation, treatment plan development and implementation, discharge planning, and supervision of PTAs and Rehab Techs. The therapist will uphold professional conduct and comply with all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy.
Responsibilities
- Maximize patient function and independence through direct and supervised physical therapy.
- Provide clinical oversight and consultation to Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs).
- Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs during individual and group treatments, ensuring efficient resource use and skill development.
- Establish and grow a robust physical therapy program.
- Advance clinical and leadership skills through collaboration, self-study, and continuing education.
- Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on industry trends and healthcare regulations.
- Understand billing models and deliver care aligned with treatment guidelines and expected outcomes.
- Adhere to infection control and environmental safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Maintain confidentiality as appropriate and ensure compliance with the state practice act in the state(s) where you are licensed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
