Dogpatch Boulders is seeking an Assistant Comp Team Coach with a passion for working with children and a creative approach to climbing instruction. This role involves developing high-quality training curriculum and collaborating with coaches to create an exceptional team experience.
Responsibilities
- Create high quality training curriculum and programming for Team Touchstone.
- Collaborate with other coaches to facilitate an exceptional team experience for climbers.
- Provide creative, fun, and engaging climbing instruction for children of various ability levels and learning styles.
Requirements
- Experienced in bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing.
- Sound understanding of climbing techniques including footwork, body positioning, movement efficiency, and route reading.
- Patience and passion for working with kids at a variety of ability levels and learning styles.
- Creative and fun approach to climbing instruction and curriculum.
- Interest in creating high quality training curriculum and programming.
- Excited to collaborate with other coaches.
