About the Role
The Floating Leasing Agent provides exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents across various company properties. This role requires flexibility to travel between locations based on business demand and reports directly to the Regional Manager.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to prospects, residents, and coworkers
- Communicate community benefits via phone, in-person, and written correspondence
- Conduct apartment tours
- Screen prospective residents
- Maintain accurate records using Entrata property management software
- Assist residents with inquiries and requests
- Ensure compliance with Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations
- Maintain professional relationships with site teams and management
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous experience as a leasing agent or assistant manager at an apartment community
- Valid New York State driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Must not be a resident of a Sunrise-managed apartment community
- Willingness to transfer real estate license to Sunrise Management & Consulting if applicable
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to conduct tours including navigating stairs
