About the Role
BAART Programs is seeking an accountable, process-oriented, and efficient leader for its Opiate Treatment Program. The Treatment Center Director will manage a diverse team, oversee daily operations, and ensure the highest quality of patient care in a comfortable outpatient clinic setting, aiming to help patients achieve long-term recovery.
Responsibilities
- Manage and ensure the performance of the Opiate Treatment Program (OTP) clinic.
- Oversee OTP clinic operations to meet budgeted and planned results.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training of clinic staff.
- Evaluate, manage, counsel, and terminate subordinate personnel.
- Provide direction to clinic personnel and communicate corporate mandates, goals, and objectives.
- Supervise staff regularly to ensure performance goals are met.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (SAMHSA, DEA, CARF, JCAHO, HIPAA) and manage necessary applications, filings, and licenses.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
- Assist with partnership opportunities and support agreements to drive census growth and meet regulatory requirements.
- Develop, monitor, and report on key clinic performance indicators and take appropriate action.
- Collaborate with OTP Medical Director, Psychiatric consultant, OTP Compliance Manager, and QA/QI activities.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and CARF/JCAHO standards.
- Maintain and update policy and procedure manuals and clinic operations manuals.
- Serve as a clinic resource and provide or arrange for clinic training.
- Maintain patient, employee, and company confidentiality.
- Participate in community relations, education, and development activities to drive and maintain census.
- Identify and implement tactical steps to increase and retain census.
- Ensure operations are prepared to handle increased census.
- Participate in political activities and network with local government and relevant boards.
- Lead efforts to hire and train personnel with cultural diversity to meet future clinic needs.
- Participate in the overall Company Performance Improvement Process.
- Ensure familiarity with standards required by the Board of Health, OSHA, etc.
- Assist with marketing programs and literature development as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience as an administrator of a clinical program.
- Understanding of clinic operations, with significant time spent in substance abuse.
- Understanding of HIPAA, Federal, State & CARF standards & regulations.
- Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills with the ability to supervise and manage personnel.
- Strategic thinker capable of recommending, executing, and monitoring alternative solutions.
- Self-starter, able to work autonomously and generate ideas and benefits for the Company.
- Customer service focused, eager, and energetic.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
