About the Role
Clarity Care is seeking a dedicated individual to provide safe and reliable transportation for consumers to appointments, work sites, and community activities, while also assisting with grocery logistics for residential group homes.
Responsibilities
- Transport consumers to agency locations, medical appointments, work sites, and community activities
- Assist with grocery ordering, pickup, and delivery for residential group homes
- Support the care, welfare, supervision, and training of individuals with intellectual disabilities or chronic conditions
- Adhere to safety and regulatory procedures during transport and care
- Document and report safety issues or significant events
- Monitor and report consumer behaviors to ensure health and safety
- Maintain a clean and safe transport environment
- Respond promptly to emergency situations
- Provide physical assistance and escort consumers during recreational activities
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- Ability to meet agency driving standards
- Provide proof of auto insurance
- Pass a periodic Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check and Department of Justice Criminal Record Checks
Skills
- Experience driving extended vehicles
- Experience driving wheelchair accessible vans
