About the Role

Sierra is partnering with a large and growing number of retailers to transform how they engage their customers. Our AI agents help millions of shoppers and members daily with tasks like order tracking, product discovery, and service booking. This role redefines what an agent can do for a brand's top line by generating revenue through personalized recommendations, cart recovery, and in-store support.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Agent Development Life Cycle, from initial scope through conversation design, tooling, evaluation, launch, and continuous iteration.
  • Translate business goals into high-performing AI agents and tune them for optimal real-world performance.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to enterprise leaders, understanding their business objectives and shaping AI strategies.
  • Partner with customer working teams, run working sessions, troubleshoot issues, and manage builds to launch.
  • Surface unmet customer needs to research and platform teams to influence product direction.

Requirements

  • Customer obsession with genuine energy for understanding customer businesses and needs.
  • Ability to thrive in complex organizations and build trusted relationships.
  • Clear, direct, and persuasive communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills for strategic problem-solving in ambiguous environments.

  • Comfort engaging with technical concepts, including API documentation, data models, and system architecture.
  • Ability to follow engineering tradeoffs in design discussions.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple complex, high-visibility projects to successful outcomes.
  • Genuine interest in Financial Services and improving end customer experience.
  • Experience in financial technology, implementations at financial institutions, or familiarity with financial services security and compliance requirements are a strong plus.
