About the Role

Five Below is seeking passionate, customer-service-oriented individuals to join their team as part-time Sales Associates. This role is central to the Five Below experience, focusing on driving sales, maintaining merchandise, and ensuring seamless customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly, handling multiple customers efficiently.
• Assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, and offering recommendations.
• Engage in suggestive selling and stay informed on product availability.
• Promote store events, promotions, and special activities.
• Address customer issues and offer alternative solutions, aiming to turn returns into exchanges.
• Inform management about merchandise restocking, service requirements, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives.

Requirements

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues/concerns courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge acquired through on-the-job training.
