About the Role
The AEC industry is highly collaborative, involving numerous companies. Autodesk excels at connecting these entities through its collaboration platform. The Forma Administration organization is central to this, developing services for managing users, business relationships, collaboration spaces, workflows, and data.
Responsibilities
- Act as the voice of the customer, particularly the workspace administrator, by providing user and market insights to engineering and leadership teams.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from discovery and concept testing to launch, go-to-market, enablement, and adoption.
- Ensure a consistent and intuitive workspace setup experience across all Autodesk products.
- Lead the launch of public APIs (create, read, update, delete) to enable integration and extensibility.
- Support regionalization by enhancing workspace capabilities to meet global compliance and user needs.
- Develop tools for administrators to easily configure settings, define custom properties, and manage business units.
- Engage in API-first development and platform product management, focusing on developers.
- Communicate succinctly and accurately.
- Express ideas through imagery and prototypes.
- Prioritize understanding customer problems over solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management (e.g., Salesforce, Shopify, Adobe, OpenText).
- Product leadership experience focused on admin or purchaser personas, or hands-on experience as a software administrator (e.g., Salesforce Admin).
- Strong communication and storytelling skills for creating product wikis, running customer sessions, or presenting to leadership.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, approachable ideas.
- Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and be energized by learning and growth.
- Clear understanding of how to define and track success metrics and KPIs.
- Intentionality with language and messaging in customer and R&D conversations.
