About the Role
The Data Solutions team at CI Wealth is seeking a Data Analyst to develop data-driven solutions, drive innovation, and uncover key insights to support strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will leverage data to enhance decision-making, streamline business processes, and support strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large datasets to uncover key insights that drive business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable solutions.
- Develop and maintain data processes that enhance efficiency and support data-driven decision-making.
- Document and maintain data mapping specifications and business rules to support data governance efforts.
- Assist in building reports, dashboards, and analytics tools to monitor key metrics and trends.
- Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and recommend data-driven improvements.
- Respond to stakeholder inquiries and data requests in a timely and effective manner.
- Partner with Data Engineers to support the successful implementation of solutions.
Requirements
- 2+ years of work experience in quantitative analysis.
- Post-secondary degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
- Solid understanding of data and data modeling.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of SQL.
- Working knowledge and understanding of Python.
- A strong analytical mindset and sophisticated written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work within an organization based upon continuous improvement.
- Experience in the Financial Services Industry is an asset.
