About the Role

The Coordinator role provides specialized support to a business area, function, or department, assisting high-level positions to ensure efficient communication, documentation, and processes. This role requires elevated knowledge of a specific area and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Administers plans or processes such as benefit plans, retirement packages or plans, and compensation plans; interprets legal regulations or guidelines.
  • Assists employees or customers with questions and issue resolutions.
  • Assists Analysts, Specialists, department, and/or other higher level positions that handle operational functions of a particular business area, serving as a subject matter expert and providing specialized support.
  • Contacts or replies to contacts from high-ranking individuals from other organizations or agencies, handling unique situations with judgment and discretion.
  • Analyzes unit operating practices to create new systems or revise established procedures.
  • Assists in identifying opportunities or needed changes in response to process, product, and regulation changes, developing proposals and assisting with implementation.
  • Prepares reports including conclusions and recommendations for operational and functional problems.
  • Recommends new practices based on industry topics and findings.
  • Interprets requests, helps implement action, and determines if leadership notification is needed for important or emergency matters.
  • Coordinates and prepares monthly meetings and reports for approval.
  • Assists in coordination and publication of reports and materials to leadership.
  • Handles business continuity plans and serves as part of the disaster recovery response team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or a GED.
  • 5 years’ administrative or related experience.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Candidates must be able to work on-site at a designated company office during standard business hours.
