About the Role

This role collaborates across the business to gather requirements and design, implement, and test system components. The position involves guiding and mentoring associate-level Software Developers to support the company's mission of #BetterGlobalHealth.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement applications using web technologies independently.
• Create and maintain product and support documentation.
• Analyze requirements and propose high-level design and technical solutions.
• Ensure solutions are interoperable, performant, and maintainable.
• Adhere to team and department coding standards.
• Participate in and provide final approval for code reviews.
• Research new technologies for use in modules.
• Advise on technical design and industry trends.
• Break down work for team members and serve as the primary contact for project issues.
• Lead by example regarding team best practices.
• Accurately report working hours in Netsuite and ensure project management tools are fully utilized.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with Java, Spring, REST API, SQL, and Git.
• Experience developing middleware products and unit testing.
• Experience with transaction processing.
• Ability to maintain repositories with a focus on code health and quality.
• Experience in end-to-end feature development.
• Knowledge of healthcare, HL7, or FHIR is an asset.
