About the Role
Albany Gastroenterology Consultants, partnering with Allied Digestive Health, is seeking a Full Time Physician Assistant (PA) to join their family. This role includes inpatient and outpatient duties, managing health problems, and coordinating patient healthcare in accordance with State and Federal regulations. The PA will assess health status, diagnose, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate patient status in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- NY License in good standing
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program
- Current DEA certificate
- Has, or eligible for, hospital privileges
Skills
- Knowledge of pertinent medical and drug information for gastroenterology patients
- Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current provider card in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Multitasking with attention to detail
- Accurate, timely, and efficient performance of duties
- Exemplary patient service skills, courteousness, and respect
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer skills: Electronic medical records, MS Office
