About the Role
Albany Gastroenterology Consultants is seeking a compassionate and skilled Full Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, working closely with physicians and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Examine and treat gastroenterology patients, applying knowledge of pertinent medical and drug information.
- Perform duties accurately, in a timely and efficient manner.
- Demonstrate exemplary patient service skills, displaying courteousness and respect.
- Maintain cordiality and patience during stressful situations.
- Utilize computer skills including Electronic Medical Records and MS Office.
- Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA Laws and safeguards.
Requirements
- Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Eligible for hospital privileges.
- Comfortable multitasking with a sharp attention to detail.
- NY NP License in good standing.
- DEA.
- Primary Care or GI experience is a plus.
