About the Role
Madison Square Garden is seeking a highly organized, intellectually curious, and technology-minded professional to serve as a Senior Administrator supporting technology. This hybrid position pairs executive support responsibilities with meaningful exposure to enterprise technology strategy, cybersecurity operations, and project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex, high-volume calendars for the Senior Vice Presidents of Technology and Information Security, coordinating across multiple business units and external partners.
- Prepare agendas, briefing materials, and follow-up documentation for executive meetings, steering committees, and board-level presentations.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements, including comprehensive itineraries, contact lists, and logistics.
- Draft, proofread, and manage professional correspondence on behalf of executives, reviewing emails and calls for appropriate follow-up actions.
- Process, reconcile, and submit executive and departmental expense reports in accordance with corporate policy.
- Handle departmental invoice processing and payments.
- Serve as a liaison between the Technology and Information Security teams and internal/external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other Senior Administrative Assistants to ensure cross-team coordination, communication, and cooperation.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive organizational, financial, and security information.
- Support the preparation and distribution of recurring departmental reports, including weekly IT activity summaries.
- Assist in tracking and documenting technology projects, milestones, and deliverables.
- Contribute to process documentation and workflow optimization efforts, applying foundational process engineering principles.
- Monitor and organize information related to emerging AI tools, trends, and enterprise applications to support executive decision-making.
- Assist with vendor coordination, technology sourcing activities, and logistics for special business events and projects.
- Order and stock office supplies and equipment for executive staff.
- Participate in departmental technology initiatives and cross-functional projects as assigned.
- Provide administrative support to other executives of the organization as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Provide exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and team members, adhering to appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across two executives simultaneously, including under tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated interest in information technology and/or cybersecurity as a career path.
- Interest in and baseline understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and their practical enterprise applications.
- Professional demeanor and comfort interacting with senior executives, board members, and external partners.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion and sound business judgment.
- Ability to quickly learn organizational structure and objectives.
- Ability to navigate complex and ambiguous matters within a matrixed environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required – 5% Travel.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Familiarity with Oracle
- Familiarity with ServiceNow enterprise platforms
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Wrike or similar)
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks
- Familiarity with IT service management concepts
- Familiarity with information security principles including the CIS Critical Security Controls
- Foundational understanding of process engineering concepts (process mapping, workflow design, continuous improvement)
