About the Role

Upstream Hospitality Group is seeking experienced bartenders for The Tap Room, focusing on creativity, progression, and originality in hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently with attention to detail.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service to guests at the bar and in the dining room.
• Verify guest identification for alcohol service, adhering to legal and company policies.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of food, beverage, beer menus, and specials.
• Ensure prompt service for bar and service bar guests.
• Monitor and maintain bar cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Demonstrate knowledge of proper pours and glassware usage.
• Adhere to liquor regulations regarding the service of alcohol to minors and intoxicated individuals.
• Promote the restaurant's offerings.
• Assist fellow team members, demonstrating a team-player attitude.
• Complete all opening and closing tasks, including side-work.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in a similar role.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build positive relationships.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Valid TIPS Certification or willingness to obtain.
• A genuine love for hospitality and leadership.
