About the Role

Lone Star Circle of Care is seeking a board-certified APRN passionate about serving the underserved population in Central Texas. This role involves providing high-quality primary healthcare both in-person and virtually within an outpatient setting, collaborating with patients to achieve their treatment goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide care both in person and virtually.
  • Work with patients to decide the best course of treatment in achieving their goals in an outpatient setting.
  • Interact and collaborate with community partners and emergency medical/psychiatric service providers to ensure patient safety.
  • Participate in after hours on-call rotation 3-4 times a year.
  • Document efficiently within an electronic health record.
  • Conduct telemedicine visits.
  • Communicate and meet with colleagues virtually.

Requirements

  • Board-certified APRN.
  • Passionate about working with the underserved population.
  • Comfortable providing care both in person and virtually.
  • Comfortable working independently in a group setting while also seeking support and consultation from colleagues.
  • Current valid license to practice in the State of Texas.
  • Possess computer/technology skills.
