About the Role
Seeking a Maintenance Personnel to join a team that creates a safe and enjoyable environment for guests by handling building and grounds repairs.
Responsibilities
- Handle all equipment repairs, including contacting vendors and gathering bids.
- Complete warranty submittals to corporate maintenance staff.
- Complete monthly maintenance inventory and submit supply orders.
- Conduct and track room preventative maintenance (PMs) for all rooms each quarter.
- Provide coverage for daily maintenance duties during call-offs or vacations.
- Review daily pool chemical logs and maintain pool and spa areas.
- Serve as the point of contact during Regional Engineer visits.
- Conduct weekly property walks with the General Manager and delegate needed repairs.
- Participate in weekly manager meetings.
- Monitor Quore for accurate usage by maintenance personnel.
- Actively monitor guest scores and implement adjustments to improve maintenance scores.
- Track expenses against the monthly budget.
- Be on-call for after-hours emergencies and respond promptly.
- Ensure Quality Assurance (QA) scores for condition are passing.
- Oversee houseman and train new maintenance personnel.
- Complete special projects as needed.
- Receive written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Clean internal building areas, including sweeping and mopping.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas, storage areas, and parking lot.
- Empty trash cans and consolidate trash for pickup.
- Repair parking lot and sidewalks using asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete.
- Operate snow removal equipment.
- Maintain and repair buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems.
- Maintain and repair fixtures and equipment according to the preventative maintenance schedule.
- Replace worn or damaged parts in machines and equipment.
- Assist other departments with moving furniture and storing supplies.
- Keep accurate records of key control changes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have CPO certification.
- Ability to perform Daily Maintenance Engineer Checklist.
- Ability to maintain and repair buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems.
- Ability to identify and report needed repairs to the parking lot and sidewalks.
