About the Role

Seeking a Mobile Automation Engineer (Android) to build automation solutions from the ground up for enterprise-scale mobile applications. This role involves partnering with engineering teams to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks for Android applications
• Build automated UI, functional, regression, integration, and performance tests
• Create scalable test solutions using Appium and open-source automation tools
• Write and maintain automation code using Java
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to improve release quality
• Participate in code reviews and automation standards discussions
• Maintain and enhance automated regression suites as applications evolve
• Support automated testing within CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot application and automation issues to identify root causes
• Help define testing strategies for new mobile features and products

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in software test automation or SDET environments
• 5+ years of Android experience using Java and/or Kotlin
• Strong hands-on Java development experience
• Mobile automation experience using Appium
• Experience designing and building automation frameworks from scratch
• Experience writing automated UI and functional tests
• Experience with Selenium and TestNG
• Experience with Shell Scripting
• Experience working with source control and CI/CD tools such as: Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Perforce
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a W-2 basis for the duration of the assignment.
