About the Role

Perform ongoing credit monitoring for a portfolio of project finance borrowers, ensuring compliance with credit policies and identifying potential credit issues early.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ongoing credit monitoring for a portfolio of project finance borrowers, ensuring compliance with credit policies.
  • Identify potential credit issues early by continuously reviewing portfolio performance and risk indicators.
  • Analyze amendment, consent, and waiver requests, assess credit impact, and prepare recommendations for credit approval.
  • Prepare periodic credit reviews and maintain up-to-date reporting on portfolio quality.
  • Collaborate with borrowers, legal counsel, engineers, and consultants to manage consent processes and negotiate changes to financing documentation.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio performance against established criteria, recommending rating or grading adjustments where appropriate.
  • Support risk mitigation through counterparty credit analysis and strategies to reduce credit exposure.
  • Ensure accurate KYC information and maintain required compliance documentation for all borrowers.
  • Prepare credit applications and internal memos presenting well-structured arguments and recommended actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, or a related field plus 2 years of experience.
  • Experience must include financial statement analysis capabilities.
  • Experience must include financial modeling proficiency.
  • Experience must include understanding of legal agreements and contractual documentation.
  • Experience must include expertise in credit risk assessment and evaluation.
  • Experience must include analytical writing skills.
  • Experience must include ability to interpret engineering studies and technical reports.

Salary/Compensations

  • $85,000.00 - $150,000.00
  • The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award.
