Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust, scalable, and interactive notebooks for data analysis, visualization, and predictive modeling.
  • Optimize notebook performance for large datasets and complex computations with minimal latency.
  • Connect notebooks to diverse data sources (databases, data warehouses, APIs, real-time data streams) for efficient data fetching and manipulation.
  • Implement advanced data visualization techniques for intuitive and interactive graphs, charts, and dashboards.
  • Build and integrate machine learning models within notebooks for rapid prototyping, testing, and deployment.
  • Utilize Git for version management and collaboration on notebook development projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in notebook technologies, data science, and related fields.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Skills

  • Designing and developing scheduling systems such as Apache Airflow, contributing to high availability and scalability (2 years)
  • Developing analysis notebooks including Jupiter and similar tools, supporting data exploration and model prototyping (2 years)
  • Designing and building metadata management systems (similar to Open Metadata) to improve data governance and accessibility (2 years)
  • Building end-to-end AI projects with a strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, including K-means clustering, Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), and auto-encoders (1 year)
  • Working with multiple programming languages and tools including Java, Python, and Shell scripting (2 years)
