About the Role
This US-based role requires covering Asia equity market hours and client flows, focusing on high-quality electronic execution and client service. You will manage the trading workflow, partnering with various teams to resolve issues and enhance system resiliency.
Responsibilities
- Manage electronic and high-touch execution for Asia equity flows, maintaining market awareness and risk controls.
- Monitor overnight orders and positions, providing timely updates and handoffs to US day teams.
- Troubleshoot order lifecycle issues across OMS/EMS, FIX, algos/routers, and venue gateways, escalating and documenting root cause.
- Support portfolio trading by coordinating lists, monitoring completion, managing allocations, and resolving post-trade exceptions.
- Partner with Ops/Tech/Risk/Compliance to ensure best execution, policy adherence, and continuous workflow improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
- Strong OMS/EMS navigation skills and comfort working in multiple systems during fast markets.
- Working knowledge of FIX message flow/sessions and ability to diagnose connectivity and routing problems.
- Clear communicator with a customer-first mindset, capable of prioritizing under time pressure.
- Familiarity with Asia market microstructure and portfolio/program trading is a plus.
- Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE) required.
