About the Role
Apprentice commercial electricians will work under the guidance of experienced professionals to develop the skills necessary to become fully licensed. This role offers hands-on experience in various commercial settings for individuals passionate about the electrical trade.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Perform basic electrical tasks including wiring, conduit bending, and circuit installation
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with the electrical team to complete projects efficiently
Requirements
- Active Texas ID or Driver's License
- Active Electrical License
- Social Security Card
- Personal tools
- Reliable transportation
- 3+ years of commercial electrical experience
- Ability to lift heavy equipment
- Physical ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance
Skills
- Knowledge of high voltage systems
- Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) regulations
- Understanding of electrical principles and concepts
