About the Role

The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in leading store operations, hiring and developing associates, and ensuring an optimal customer experience. This role is responsible for executing brand standards, driving sales performance, and managing store operations in the absence of the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily goals to deliver exceptional client experiences and maximize sales.
• Ensure brand standards are met, including merchandising, marketing, and store appearance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for resolving customer issues.
• Engage, train, and develop store teams to achieve positive results.
• Recruit and build a network of candidates to fill open positions.
• Address associate performance through coaching and counseling.
• Maintain positive associate relations and foster an environment of diversity and inclusion.
• Execute company processes, including Omni-channel fulfillment (SFS/SDD/BOPIS).
• Manage inventory, payroll, and store scheduling.
• Ensure store opening and closing procedures are performed correctly.
• Maintain a safe store environment and enforce all safety and loss prevention policies.
• Protect company assets through inventory and cash control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and execution.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lead or support a team to meet business objectives.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must have flexible scheduling availability to meet business needs.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods, walking, bending, and lifting moderately heavy items.
