About the Role

We're seeking an accomplished Senior Manager to lead a high-performing group of engineers, designers, and project managers delivering complex Information, Communication, Automation Technology (ICAT) solutions. You will drive the successful delivery of communications, security, audiovisual, and intelligent building systems while developing your team, strengthening client relationships, and supporting practice growth.

Responsibilities

Leads, manages, and mentors a team of 4 to 6 engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver projects on a timely basis.
Develops policy and implements strategy for short-term results (1 year or less).
Primarily responsible for managing, retaining, and developing staff members.
Identifies and staffs projects either directly or through Project Managers.
Acts as a primary relationship manager for a select group of clients.
Monitors status of projects through Project Managers.
Engages in performance management cycle for direct reports.
Responsible for project billings of team.
Responsible for financial performance of the projects that they invoice for.
Develops proposals and pricing.
Achieves financial/operational targets aligned with divisional results.
Supporting the operational management of the Toronto office.

Requirements

Must have a P.Eng preferably in Electrical Engineering or comparable field.
10+ years of Consulting Engineering experience.
Must have experience in managing staff members and Projects.
Experience with ICAT projects in a variety of market sectors.
Ability to travel is required.
