About the Role
Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Civil Engineering to lead and support design, permitting, and client management/development efforts for various land development projects. This role offers the opportunity to partner with industry leadership on premier land development projects.
Responsibilities
- Design and permit residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use projects for public and private clients.
- Collaborate with office leadership to develop growth plans and ensure staff utilization.
- Participate in Business Development activities by developing new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Lead site/civil efforts, including design and oversight of site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion/sediment control from concept to completion.
- Lead storm water management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, and SWPPP preparation.
- Demonstrate experience in all aspects of land development engineering, including geotechnical and environmental engineering integration.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 10+ years of successful, local, and related site/civil engineering experience with a concentration in land development on small and large projects.
- Professional Engineering license.
- Site/civil experience on various project sites, including design and oversight of site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion/sediment control from concept to completion.
- Strong client development and client management abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D is preferred.
- Active participation in professional organizations.
- Experience in technical and proposal writing.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
- Possess reliable transportation for client meetings and job site visits and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
