About the Role

DiVal Safety Equipment is seeking a motivated Operational Specialist with a "whatever it takes" attitude to join their team. This role focuses on providing accurate and efficient warehouse and customer support with a strong emphasis on safety.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety training and directions.
  • Load and deliver products on scheduled routes using a 26’ non-CDL box truck (60-80% of the time).
  • Perform various warehouse activities including picking, packing, shipping orders, receiving inventory, and stocking shelves (20-40% of the time).
  • Prepare and submit all necessary daily paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Complete cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
  • Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Report any existing or potential safety concerns to management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical with drug screen.
  • Strong organizational, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Valid Driver’s License (16’ or 26’ box truck, non-CDL).
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • High school diploma / GED equivalent.

  • Experience driving a box truck for delivery services (Preferred).
  • Experience with handheld equipment, like RF scanners, palm devices, and/or tablets (Preferred).
  • AS400 experience (a plus).
