About the Role
As a Tactical Security Guard, your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly is paramount. Your keen observation skills and strong social abilities are key assets in this role, which involves patrolling various environments like retail stores, airports, and security facilities.
Responsibilities
- Patrol critical areas to spot suspicious activity.
- Check identification and control access to secure areas.
- React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
- Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
- Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- Hold a valid Ontario security license.
- Hold a valid Ontario driver's license.
- First aid certification is required.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
