About the Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst for the Money Network, you will deliver analysis and actionable insights that shape budgeting, forecasting, and investment decisions. You will collaborate with finance, operations, and product partners to translate data into clear, data-driven recommendations, advancing resource allocation, profitability, and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain driver-based financial models to support scenario planning, investment cases, and long-range planning.
  • Lead monthly forecast updates and partner with stakeholders to explain revenue, expense, and margin trends versus plan and prior periods.
  • Support monthly close activities by preparing analyses for accruals, reclasses, and variance explanations and coordinating with Accounting.
  • Analyze key business drivers, key performance indicators (KPIs), and unit economics to identify risks, opportunities, and performance improvement actions.
  • Develop executive-ready dashboards and reports using Excel and business intelligence tools to visualize performance and progress to goals.
  • Present findings and recommendations to finance and business leaders, ensuring clarity, traceability, and alignment to objectives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis and/or similar discipline
  • Experience building and maintaining complex financial models and delivering insights that influence business or investment decisions
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup functions, data modeling)
  • Experience with enterprise planning and reporting tools (for example, Power BI, SAP or a similar platform)
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered for this position.
