About the Role

The Treasury Services Division (TSD) Security Operations Team has an opening for a Senior IS Advisor. This role will consult on and support information security activities including continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, security risk management, and security policy/governance. You will also contribute to security policy enhancements, assurance reviews, and improvements in security posture and operational capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consulting services to clients to evaluate, recommend, design, and implement information security solutions and process improvements.
  • Identify client requirements by establishing rapport with clients and resources to understand business and information security needs.
  • Develop knowledge of supported client areas and build relationships by assessing client needs.
  • Provide strategic support to clients and leaders, advising on best practices and implementation of changes.
  • Review and assess data to address clients’ business and information security needs.
  • Lead process improvement and long-term information security solution discussions, presenting outcomes to senior management.
  • Drive investigative activities arising from security events escalated from the security operations center (SOC).
  • Oversee cybersecurity emergency response actions, including zero-day mitigation.
  • Participate in project development for new processes and integration with existing ones, communicating changes to impacted clients and resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6 to 9+ years of experience in Information Security, Security Operations, IT Compliance/Risk Management, or related field.
  • Experience in information security operations in AWS cloud (Commercial and/or GovCloud) environments.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Information Security and concepts related to continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, security incident response, and security policy/governance.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to tailor oral and written communications to their intended audiences.
  • Candidates must review the Bank’s Employee Code of Conduct for compliance with conflict-of-interest rules and personal investment restrictions.
  • The selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Eligibility for this position requires U.S. Citizenship.
