About the Role

The Property Manager is responsible for all property management-related concerns within their specific region, including reviewing and reconciling accounts, SOAs, validating data integrity, accurate reporting, and administering monthly rent, CAM, Taxes, and property management escalations. This role works closely with various internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the assigned region to ensure lease data is maintained and updated according to RBI internal quality standards.
  • Liaise with landlords and franchisees on matters such as year-end reconciliations, property maintenance, lease interpretation, site disputes, and escalations.
  • Ensure the integrity of lease data within the system, including monthly payment of rent, budgeted CAM, taxes, year-end reconciliations, and other ad-hoc billings.
  • Assist in the delivery of property tax reviews, lease audits, and process improvement.
  • Prepare correspondence relating to rent adjustments, outstanding payments, CAM costs, and site issues.
  • Oversee the Non-Restaurant Property portfolio and establish maintenance schedules and day-to-day management.
  • Manage bad debt and collection activities, as well as tenant arrears.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bilingual French and English required.
  • 5+ years of experience in property management, property accounting, or lease administration with strong financial competencies and/or legal experience in retail/commercial real estate.
  • Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills, both internal and external, capable of influencing a wide range of audiences on complex or delicate issues.
  • Well-organized with the ability to manage various competing priorities.
  • Ability to work in teams, particularly cross-functional ones.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deal with uncertainty.
  • Advanced Project Management Skills.
