About the Role

We are seeking an experienced individual to lead the RFIO SW Dev team, focusing on RF design and SW integration within the avionics sector. This role involves close collaboration with HW and FPGA teams, managing project risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and organize the RFIO SW Dev team.
• Integrate RF design with software.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare Planning Documentation & Cert Doc.
• Interface with HW and FPGA teams.
• Conduct code reviews.
• Develop and manage software development tools.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of RF design and SW integration.
• Experience with leading teams.
• Experience with SW Requirements Development.
• Experience working in DAL A software development.
• Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and architecture principles.
• Experience with various application areas supporting Avionics functions, Navigation and Airborne Surveillance (TCAS, Transponder, ADS-B, DME, UAT).
• Experience working with Defense Customers preferred.
• Flight test experience, including understanding wiring diagrams and system inputs for aircraft.
• Experience with engineering tools such as montpa and x-scribe.
• Familiarity with Jira and Bitbucket.
• Understanding of build processes and compiler settings.
