About the Role

Responsibilities

Work directly with traders, researchers, and other developers to engineer cutting edge, ultra-low latency, high throughput trading systems.
Play a key role in taking projects from conception to deployment.
Drive innovation for the frameworks upon which trading applications are based.
Benchmark and tune critical software services to achieve optimum performance.

Requirements

Advanced proficiency with C/C++ systems development in a Linux environment.
Performance tuning and optimization of low latency software.
Demonstrable success building high performance software.
Experience building latency sensitive systems with a strong understanding of low-level systems and network development.
Strong understanding of hardware stack and hardware architecture from a latency perspective.
Strong understanding of network protocols.
Advanced knowledge of operating system internals and Linux kernel.
