About the Role

Pinterest is seeking an Analyst of Sales Finance to join their Finance team. This role will provide CFO-level partnership and sophisticated analytics to the Chief Revenue Officer and their global leadership team. The Analyst will support Sales Finance Managers and other senior leaders on revenue forecasting, insights, and goal-setting, partnering with Sales leaders to improve P&L by identifying trends and consulting on strategic business decisions. The role involves translating complex data into actionable insights, focusing on both details and big-picture challenges within a dynamic digital ads platform.

Responsibilities

Support revenue and performance management of key sales verticals.
Build sophisticated models to deliver cutting-edge insights and improve revenue forecasting.
Leverage AI-driven financial tools and platforms to automate data analysis, identify revenue trends, or enhance forecasting accuracy, and proactively seek opportunities to apply AI and automation to process improvement.
Own delivery of financial reporting to Pinterest executives and Sales leaders.
Create dashboards and models to scale monitoring of key performance indicators and tools to drive strategic insight.
Support other strategic programs within Pinterest like agencies and partnerships with advertisers.
Leverage superior financial modeling skills to deliver ad hoc analyses.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business OR a minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales Finance, Corporate Finance, FP&A, Investment Banking, or other quantitative fields.
Exceptional spreadsheet skills with experience creating financial models and dashboards.
Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills (Google Slides).
Ability to multi-task and deliver against tight timelines.
Basic SQL experience is preferred, but not required.
Familiarity with using AI-powered analytics or forecasting tools (such as ChatGPT, Tableau with AI features, or Google Cloud AI platforms) to streamline financial analysis, generate insights, or create reports.
Ability to learn and adapt to evolving AI-driven tools and methodologies in financial planning is a plus.
