About the Role
National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a Full Time Radiologic Technologist to join our team of highly trained, caring professionals at our Babylon location.
Responsibilities
- Operate C-arm in a procedural setting to obtain optimum imaging results, using technical/clinical knowledge and ability.
- Prepare patients for radiological procedures and the exam process by performing effective positioning, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment according to specific instructions, and adjusting exposure controls.
- Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations of treatment, and answering any questions.
Requirements
- A valid and current NY Radiologic Technologist license
- A valid and current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency
- C-arm experience preferred
- Current BLS
- The capacity to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while demonstrating resourcefulness and proactivity
- Ability to travel, as needed
