About the Role
The Wealth Relationship Manager works closely with the Wealth Relationship Officer and service teams to build meaningful relationships with high-value clients. Professionalism, client focus, and understanding of wealth planning fundamentals are key to acquiring, developing, advising, and retaining a client portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial solutions and opportunities to clients.
- Increase wallet share of existing clients and identify product opportunities.
- Conduct needs assessments with current and potential Wealth customers.
- Recommend appropriate banking, investment, and insurance products and services.
- Represent the Company in community organizations and activities.
- Enhance the Company's image and maintain a referral network.
- Maintain an active prospect pipeline.
Requirements
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. as HSBC will not engage in immigration sponsorship.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, related field or equivalent experience.
- FINRA Series 7 & 66 (or 63 and 65) required.
- Life and Health insurance licenses required.
- Meaningful experience in nontraditional banking financial sales.
- Experience providing client recommendations and increasing sales.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth client portfolios.
- Expert knowledge in wealth planning and wealth products.
- Expert knowledge of the impact of macroeconomics/microeconomics/local market developments.
- Expert knowledge of external regulatory framework relevant to wealth management.
- Strong client focus and ability to deliver needs-based solutions.
- Effective communication, influencing, and sales skills.
- Ability to demonstrate strong relationship deepening skills with existing client base.
- Ability to build and grow relationships and develop referral sources.
- Strong business development skills to work with outside COI’s to develop self-sourced business.
- Self-motivated and self-driven individual.
- Strong relationship and communications skills.
- Good understanding of how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk and Internal Control.
- Ensure a balanced risk operating environment.

Salary/Compensations
- The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
