About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day clinic operations while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and courteous manner
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments while maintaining an efficient treatment calendar
- Check patients in and out and support smooth patient flow throughout the day
- Collect and process payments and assist with basic billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and demographic information
- Verify insurance information and assist with insurance documentation when required
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties, including data entry, filing, scanning, and managing office supplies
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and professional at all times
- Communicate effectively with clinical and administrative team members to support patient care
- Provide coverage and support at multiple View Dental locations as needed
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service, front desk, or office administration
- Experience in a dental or clinical environment is considered an asset
- Experience using dental practice management software such as Dentrix is an asset
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to work across multiple clinic locations
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- Professional phone etiquette and a patient-focused mindset
- Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and standard office technology
