About the Role
We are seeking a design engineer who bridges the gap between design and code to craft an intuitive product experience. You will prototype, build, and polish interfaces for customer workflows, model training, and public-facing GTM efforts, working directly with the founding team.
Responsibilities
- Build production-quality UI components and interactions for complex workflows.
- Own the quality of UI implementation across the platform.
- Build visualization and developer experience surfaces for understanding and debugging models.
- Extend the product's design language to the website and public presence.
- Translate the platform experience into sales collateral, including demos and assets.
- Contribute to design systems and component libraries for consistency and faster shipping.
Requirements
- Strong front-end or design engineering skills (TypeScript, React, CSS, animations).
- Experience building polished, production user interfaces.
- Strong product taste and clear opinions on software quality.
- Ability to move fast and prototype ideas quickly.
- Systems thinking for building reusable, maintainable UI.
- Comfort in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment.
- Experience working directly with customers and the founding team.
- Experience building data visualization or complex technical UIs.
- Experience with observability, debugging, or evaluation interfaces.
- Background at high-craft product companies or developer tooling startups.
- Experience building AI-powered products or agent systems.
- Experience experimenting with new frameworks.
- Experience working closely with designers or operating as a design-minded engineer.
