About the Role
Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout public-facing areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support orderly operations and appropriate movement throughout the location.
- Assist with incident reporting, relay information to supervisors and/or public officials when appropriate, and follow post instructions for security-related concerns at the site.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
